Forme. Penya original ink swatches

Penya original ink, produced by Forme. also known as Forme-Zakka is an ink brand rather bard to obtain in the European union. They quickly rose to fame for their unique chroma shade colors. Inks are produced in collaboration with Tono & Lims so you can expect a high quality from these inks. The inks flow well and take a while to dry, allowing for a nice chroma shade o thos with multi colors in them like Scenic Beauty, Hanaikada and Suzukaze. 

We carry a small collection of the Penya inks which we've swatched on both tomoe river (top) and Iroful (bottom) paper. The only shimmer ink we currently stock from Penya is the Lemon Squash which is magical to look at in the bottle.

Forme-Zakka the quaint stationery store tucked away in the major city of Kyoto near the kamogawa river developed their own ink recipes and markets them under the brand name Penya. Their inks are inspired on the surroundings around the store, ranging from landmarks, locations as well as seasonal views in and around the area of the kamogawa river.
