Mitasanshodo Swatches
Share
Mitasanshodo is the brand which build the bridge between aesthetic design and functionality of beautiful inks. The bottles are true eyecatchers with the Edo Kiriro engravings. When designing the bottles Mitasanshodo took into consideration the functionality of it all, where a cutout was made in the bottle to allow for filling your fountain pen untill the last drop.
The two series Sumi and Hana are a collection of highly saturated and dark colors (Sumi) and vibrant lighter colors (Hana). although Sumi suggest these are pigment calligraphy inks, these inks are only based on caligraphy inks and are fountain pen friendly. Made by KureTake in collaboration with Mitasanshodo you can fill your pens without a worry. The Sumi inks are highly saturated and sheen when undiluted. The underlying colors can be made more visible by using a thinner.
The swatches shown down below are of undiluted ink on cream colored Midori paper.
